About

I am a writer and editor based out of Nova Scotia, Canada. I hold a BA in English Literature and Environment, Sustainability & Society, and I’ve completed training in copy, stylistic and substantive editing from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson).

In 2013, I received the Joyce Barkhouse Writing for Children award from the Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia for a fantasy novella manuscript. I’m a three-time finalist of the international NYC Midnight Flash Fiction Challenge.

Since 2014 I have edited and contributed to Open Heart Forgery, a grassroots poetry project for writers and readers in Nova Scotia and beyond.
