Welcome!

My name is Georgia Atkin, and I am a writer and editor based in Nova Scotia, Canada. I provide a range of different editing services: substantive editing, copy editing, stylistic editing, and proofreading (some for all genres and some only for a few specific genres). I’m also a creative writer: I write poetry, short fiction, and a smattering of non-fiction. You can find a list of my published works here (plus my Creative Corner page, where I post new flash fiction stories from time to time).

Georgia and I worked together on a children’s book based on my own memories of growing up as a Lebanese Canadian in Halifax. She was so helpful in asking the right questions to draw out more detail for my story, and offered invaluable insight and feedback on my work. I am so happy with the final product and look forward to working with her again in the future.
